Rite of Passage for Women
A rite of passage marks a significant transition in a person’s life—a moment of stepping into a new stage, often accompanied by shifts in identity, responsibility, and purpose. These ceremonies honor such thresholds and help integrate the changes they bring.
As women, many of us were never given the “basic training” or sacred acknowledgment of what it truly means to enter and embody womanhood. I offer rituals that mark these essential transitions: from adolescence into womanhood, as well as ceremonies throughout the journey of womanhood—such as blessingways for marriage, celebrations of pregnancy, childbirth, and other creative births.
These rites of passage offer meaningful opportunities for women to gather in sisterhood, to witness, support, and celebrate one another through life’s transformations. In these sacred spaces, we remember how to honor the circle of life—together.
